After a long wait to see the new Windows 8.1, I gone mad in the end. There was a problem with my internet connection! I’d spend more than 2 hour to figure it out why my connection is limited.
I tried reboot countless times and also reboot my modem. All didn’t work until I found a post to solve my problem.
Ok listen you’re at the right place if you have this problem. Follow 2 steps below.
Windows 8.1 Wifi limited connection problem
First method : Update your Broadcom driver.
- Wins + Q to enter search mode.
- Type in “device manager”
- Click on Network adapters and you will see Broadcom 802.11g
4. Update the driver online or offline.
Second method :
Wins + Q to open cmd (as administrator*important)
type in all the command below (one by one using right click to paste)
netsh int tcp set heuristics disabled
netsh int tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled
