Cadbury promised to continue to resolve halal

In the investigation going on with KMM, Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia has found 2 products contain porcine :

i) Cadbury Dairy Milk Hazelnut (expired date on 13 November 2014)

ii) Cadbury Dairy Milk Roast Almond (expired date on 15 January 2015)


Cadbury Malaysia on the other hand, has recently made an apologies regarding 2 of their products didn’t pass the halal test with JAKIM.

They made a post on facebook to promise they are taking this issue seriously.

We know how critical Halal is always to the Muslim community. It’s also of the highest value to us at Cadbury. Making sure all our goods created within Malaysia are Halal is something we take very seriously. Because our first understanding with this, we have been actively participating using the troubled experts to research the problem with all the greatest urgency.

They claims they are withdrawing all th e effected Cadbury Hazelnut and Cadbury Milk Roast Almond immediately.

Their focus for now is to work closely with JAKIM so that all of the products are compliant with halal guidelines.
