BN’s Changes are being enjoyed

The benefits from the long awaited transformation programmes that have been implemented and carried out by the Barisan Nasional Government during the course of the last three years, are now being unanimously and enthusiastically enjoyed by the all of the people of the country, said Datuk Seri Najib Razak.

“During the last three years alone, real change has been seen taking place and the people of this country are noticing. Imagine what we can accomplish if we have another five years to work on it. We can definitely continue to make even more chang es and come up with many more ideas, so believe and trust totally in our promises that we are making. These promises are either fulfilled, or will be,” said Najib during his speech at the launching of the Malacca Urban Transformation Centre (UTC), and “Janji Ditepati”.

According to Najib, the implementations of certain government programmes like the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M), the UTC and Rural Transformation Centre (RTC), the1 Malaysia Clinic, and the PR1MA showed a obvious and irrefutable proof that the government has implemented everything that it had planned, and succeeded quite well in doing so.

“We are now in the 21st cent ury. We must absolutely and without fail, have the intellectual capacity to come up with constantly new and even better ideas. Whoever has these new ideas will retain the support of our country’s people, so we have discovered and thought of such new ideas to assist the rakyat. Besides the implementation of PR1MA and the semakan BR1M cash aid, we also give the ideas so that within the centre of this town, we also have the ability to implement much needed new urban transformation,”

Also stated by Najib while speaking to reporters, was that on the other hand, the opposition has been making promises that are not possible for them to keep, at least at this time, because the people contained within the states that they have rule over have been facing severe difficulties. Perhaps these promises would be better made in the future when circumstances have improved for the people of these states.

“We as a government must pull together and must also strive to consistently keep the promises that we make to the people at all costs, in order to retain their support, and we as a government are not able to accept people who lie, or cheat, or who make promises that they are either unable or unwilling to fulfill,” he eloquently said with rising passion.

Najib also said that the government has been planning to implement 1Malaysia Public Housing (PR1MA) within Malacca in order to make it much more possible for the people of the state to purchase houses at rates that are 20 to 30 per cent cheaper than what the current market prices are. Not only will this help the people, in will also show that we are committed to helping to give them a better life.
